About us

With a diversified background and over 30 years of experience in architecture, Alahe poses a wide-ranging national and international portfolio of award-winning work encompassing all phases of design and delivery of educational, commercial and mixed use projects. Over the last decade, Alahe has focused on creating exceptional academic spaces, with varied projects exemplifying the cutting edge of 21st-century trends in campus life and education delivery.

Most notable have been live-learn residence halls as well as flexible teaching spaces supporting emerging technology and pedagogical innovation throughout the Northeast, including Harvard, Lesley University, MIT, Northeastern University and Southern New Hampshire University.

Her projects and network in higher education reflect a dedication to improving campus life and enriching the quality of educational environments for students. Notable projects include Boston College’s Center for Teaching Excellence, a renovation of Colby College’s Roberts Union Hall, and two projects for Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.

Aldo studied architecture at the University of Kansas and has been affiliated and earned credentials with the American Institute of Architects, the U.S. Green Building Council and SCUP, the Society for College and University Planning for over a decade. She has won multiple architecture and design awards such as the Library & Media Center Design Awards for the John D. Runkle School in Brookline, Mass., and honors from American School & University for her educational interiors work and from School Planning & Management Magazine for general design excellence.
